Does this come with the Forward and Reverse Screw for the Club Car Precedent 2004+? I had to saw mine off because I couldn't get it off, and I do not see one listed on here for the Precedent only the DS one. Thank you.
This handle extension is precisely what I needed. The handle should have been designed this way from the beginning. Forward/reverse shifting used to be clumsy and difficult. Now, I can shift back and forth with one finger. I wish I would have found it sooner.
Very disappointed in the shifter lever for the club car precedent, the problem I have is that lever was about a 45° angle away from the console and therefore it touched our leg in a forward or reverse situation I took the old lever and altered it with a 6” stem to make it go straight up and down and that way it’s as high as the top of the seat but not in the way when shifting toughing your leg when shifting gears. A design change to have shifter in a straight up position and as tall as top of seat is so much easier to use than the club car OEM shifter. Was a wasted $28

This is the third one I have purchased. Two were for EZGO carts so I was very familiar with this item. It has been installed and we like it a lot. Thanks Richey
Thank you for your response. Please be advised that had you called when this item was given you problems, we would have been more than happy to stand by our warranty and return policy. However, this item had been bought over a year ago and now is out of our policy guidelines.

This product is the best. Easy to install, and you do not look for the forward, reverse, its at you hand, Great shift for your club car.
This thing is made of cheap plastic. I put it on and in the first week I realized the plastic around the rectangular shaft that extends from the cart was giving way and bending back and forth. It's hard to explain, but I'm including a picture of what it looks like now. After I realized that the plastic wasn't strong enough to hold on to the metal shaft from the golf cart and turn it so the gears change, I decided to try to make it sturdier somehow. I filled it with JB weld which helped. I actually got about two months use out of it before it finally gave way again this weekend. You can see in the picture the hole is almost round. It should be rectangle. I'm throwing it away and I just ordered the stock shifter for six bucks.
Thank you for the review, we value the feedback. I will pass this along to our product development team. I hope this was an isolated case. I have one of these on my personal golf cart and I love it. Never had an issue like yours, but mines an EZGO. Thank you for reaching out.
Much better than the stock shift lever. However due to the angle your calf will rub against it. IMHO the design should have been a longer shaft so that the ball was higher (possibly offer two user changeable height tubes) and much less forward angle or none at all. Will deconstruct over the winter and fab something myself.
