Would using 4 12 volt batteries be a good set up when using this conversion kit?
Jim S on Jan 20, 2019
Is this everything I need to power a 99 TXT ? (Less the batteries, cables and charger of course). Also I have a question about Batteries for this set up. My existing stock battery tray is rusty and needs replaced. What would you suggest I use for a new battery rack that will accomodate 48 Volts? Thanks.

to convert the voltage to 48 volts can you add a 12v battery in series with the existing 6- 6v batteries?
charles g on Dec 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Charles this wouldn't be the way we would advise you to go to 48v. I would recommend 6-8v batteries or to add 2 extra 6 volts if you have the room
I have 48 volt system and motor on my 2007 txt- I would like to add electric brakes to my cart. What would you suggest- I would like to continue using my current motor- is that possible?
Ken B on Jan 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Ken, we may have a disc brake kit you could use on the front of the cart. Please give our sales department a call and we can pick out a kit for you.

The wait times on the phone we're longer than expected but once you get through they are very helpful and the products are quality pieces.
I would recommend this kit for anyone that is looking, it doesn't come with a gasket between the motor and axle assy or a wiring diagram/instructions but the tech Dept can email it. My cart was flooded and needed everything so this kit worked out well.
