i'm not sure of the weight, but it isn't overly heavy. maybe 20-30 lbs? all parts are included, but you may need extra bolts. you have to remove the rear wheels on the golf cart and maybe the fender liners. with that out of the way it's an easy installation. the installation instructions are very clear and easy to follow. hope this helps.
If you're wondering if you need to beef up your suspension for it, I'd say no. Now pending what you put in it, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Don't qoute me, but I thought the shipped weight was like 60 lbs? Buggies unlimited should be able to tell you that I'd think... My cart is a 2011 and I didn't need anything extra to get it installed. I did have to do some minor tweaking on the support bars underneath but wasn't anything big. It's a good buy, you'll be glad you did.Enter
The aluminum box is made from very cheap/thin aluminum making it flimsy, I plan on reinforcing it myself as it will not last long if I don’t. Also the tailgate doesn’t fold all the way down it stops like a pick up truck and has no supports to support it again very flimsy
