Will this work with Yamaha 48 volt Drive? Current meter is rectangle and three plug.
Dennis B on Mar 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, electrically it will work. . I found it very easy to install, but I am a mechanic and have all the tools. You may want to look at the Reliance rectangle meter if you want to mount in the same spot as your current meter.
Is there a video of how it is installed?
Jesse M on Oct 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jesse, unfortunately we don't have any videos available. Joseph is right, there are probably some online. If you need more assistance, feel free to call our technicians.
Listen-I love the description of what this product will do. I ordered it and it sits on my counter b/c the instructions are extremely vague regarding exactly what wires I am supposed to connect the wires to. The 3 leads from the meter are short so I’m hoping I would connect all three to various connections to the back of the ignition key switch...but which ones EXACTLY for my 2016 Club Car Precedant ??? HELP, please? Maybe a video on how to exactly install???? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: I recently installed one on a 48V Yamaha G19 that I am rebuilding. I am an idiot when it comes to electrical so if I can do it, you can too. Your batteries are all run in series (positive to negative across the entire pack) so you need to locate the end of that series. The best option for me due to the length of the wires was to use the positive and negative connections on the inside of the charging harness (where your charger plugs in). You might have to lenghten your wires. Red to positve and balc to negative. Your yellow wire is to be spliced into the positive wire coming from the back of your key switch. You will need a multi-meter to test which wire is positive but for my cart it was the yellow wire. When connected correctly, the meter turns on and off with the key switch. Hope that helps!
what does DC/DC converter mean?
GARY C on Sep 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Your batteries are a DC voltage source of 36v or 48v usually. A DC to DC converter takes that 36-48 DC volts and reduces it down to a 12v DC output. So you can run accesories like lights or a fan or whatever!
